What you will do:

Under general direction, position responsible for category management of assigned key account(s) including heavy analytical support, line review, trend analysis and developing insights to drive customer performance
How you will do it:
  • Recommend strategies and tactics that can be implemented to drive sales performance, identify gaps or solve problems
  • Create and present market and consumer research to assigned account(s)
  • Conduct line reviews for assigned account(s) including assortment recommendations, segment trend performance and providing strategies and tactics to drive sales
  • Utilize sales, industry and market research data to maintain and identify business trends and opportunities
  • Analyze and interpret consumer, industry and sales data into actionable insights
  • Multi-task between projects and reporting/analytics with ability to adjust priorities based on opportunities/needs
  • Support internal and external account teams with unbiased recommendations based on knowledge of the market, industry, consumer and customer
  • Coach, mentor, and direct the work of analyst level team members as appropriate
  • Collect information for and maintain marketing information for market reporting
  • Accurately maintain product master data
  • Accurately maintain and process competitor information
  • Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for all tasks, projects and responsibilities
  • Perform  projects and analysis as needed


Job Requirements

What we look for:
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, sales or related field
  • Minimum 5 years analytical experience; customer/Vendor experience required
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, manage time, and deliver effectively in a fast moving environment while handling multiple responsibilities
  • Experience in customer  and/or business solution strategy development
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated ability to influence others through written and verbal communication. 
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to work with data from multiple sources, interpret data and turn into actionable insight
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Proven analytical and problem solving skills
  • Experience managing significant scopes of working including research projects, a full customer portfolio, etc
  • Ability to provide actionable insights from non-syndicated data sources
  • Category, Account or Product Management experience
  • Travel up to 25%
• Delta Bronze certification
• Category Management Association certifications
• Automotive Aftermarket, Mass Merchant or Battery experience
• B2B or Distributor account management or analytical support
• Proven ability to analyze 3rd party market share and articulate actionable insights to Customer
